PGIMS is one of the twelve institutes that was chosen for 125 participant trail of the vaccine candidate which is jointly developed after the research of Bharat Biotech Company and ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research). This joint research from Biotech and ICMR has also claimed that the vaccine trial is on priority need and hopefully it is going to launch as soon as possible. However, according to the letter, the time needed for phase 1 and 2 trials of vaccine is around 15 to 12 months but still, the company claimed that the vaccine will be developed in the upcoming month.
