Recently, information has come out that all the pending exams for Class 10th and 12th are going to cancel and this is all because of the pandemic outbreak of coronavirus. A few months back that was in March when the COVID virus came in India all the schools, as well as educational institutes, were closed so that social distancing can be maintained and children can be protected from this deadly virus. Previously, information came out that the exams for Class 10th to 12th are scheduled from July 1st to July 15th, 2020 but now the Supreme Court has said that no exams are going to be held as the parents do not want to take the risks of their children to live.

Solicitor Tushar Mehta said that “all the Class 12th students can easily opt for the assessments scheme that can be notified by the CBSE shortly or can appear for the remaining exams whenever they are held.” Moreover, he said that there are fewer chances that exams will be held but further announced that if the atmosphere cools down then we can think of having the leftover exams for the students of Class 10th and 12th. But till the time being exams are canceled and therefore, it is good news for the students.

Mr. Mehta further said that the remaining exams for Class 12th would be down by taking into consideration the marks scored by students in the previous three exams. Hence, the assessments will be declared on July 15th, 2020. But this is not fair for each and every student, the exams for Class 10th are totally canceled but for the students of 12th, if any child gets low marks then they can conduct the exam but this will only be possible after the atmosphere gets cooled.
