Ergo, this is all because of the negligence of Delhites, the people are not considering and maintaining the norms properly. Now, the situations in Delhi are becoming more and more critical. Moreover, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has made an announcement that “Delhi is expected to have more than 5 lakh cases till the end of July.”
Probing further, keeping these things in mind the government of Delhi has decided to close Jama Masjid for devotees till June 30th because the conditions can get more worsened in Delhi, NCR. Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari was the one who said this in a report on Thursday. Furthermore, Bukhari made these decisions only after consulting the public and Islamic scholars. He further announced that “we only made this decision after my secretary died after the novel coronavirus Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday night.” In addition, he said that life is first, we can easily worship god at home also and it is obligatory to protests one life.
The mosque was earlier opened on June 8th and it was after a gap of two months with so many other relaxations and this was referred to as Unlock 1.
