As per the updates, the Supreme Court on Wednesday granted interim bail to Arnav Goswami. Arnav Goswami is the Republic TV Editor in Chief. Along with Arnav Goswami, two other people have been granted bail today by the Supreme Court. The two people who have been granted bail were taken to jail in 2018 for alleged abetment of the suicide of an interior designer. According to reports, it has been found that a bench of head Chandrachaud said that Goswami, Nitish Sharada, and Praveen Rajesh Singh. Should be granted bail with a bound of Rs. 50,000. This was further directed to the Commissioner of Police to ensure that the order gets followed so very immediately.
Probing further, Supreme Court added that Arnab Goswami and two others should not temper with evidence and cooperate in probe abatement to suicide case. Goswami approached SC after the Bombay High Court refused to grant him bail on Monday. Besides the Maharastra government, Goswami was kept in the Taloja jail. All the three accused were arrested by ALibaug police in Maharastra Raigad district on November 4th, 2020. The arrest was taken place just in connection with the suicide of the interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother in 2018.
Apart from interim bail, the journalist and the four people accused. Have sought direction from the high court for staying for an investigation into the case. The high court will hear the pleas on December 10th. But till the time all of them are granted mail and this is one of the great news. People should go ahead and celebrate this day.
