Suits are the most popular traditional Indian wear for women which are not only stylish but also have a lot of comfort. One can choose a medium or a long length kurta which is also known as the kameez and team it up with a loose salwar and a dupatta to complete the look. This is a versatile attire which is always in fashion.

When one talks about the Indian suits for women, these are the few popular styles that one can try:

Anarkali Suits

The flowing Anarkali style of suit has a regal touch. They look modern but they also have a touch of traditional Indian fashion. Hence this is ethnic on one side and extremely fashionable on the other. It has a smart and sleek design and it can flatter each and every body type. One can go for the floor length Anarkali which has a kind of a royal appearance. This is suitable for any evening get together or an occasion like marriage or a traditional party. It can give any woman body a slender appearance. There is another variation called the frock style Anarkali which is short and mostly skin fitted. One can wear them if they have a straight body with fewer curves. The A line Anarkali has a flared bottom and so it can give one a slimmer look. So one can wear them if they have a wide lower body.

Punjabi Suits

They have a classic design and the suit is of short length that comes with fitted kameez. One can pair them up with a pleated salwar or a dhoti pant or a Patiala. The Patiala is a bottom wear which gets its name from the city of Punjab called the same. Here the pleat starts from the waist and then it make folds behind the legs.

They are also known as the lawn suits and they have a touch of charm and elegance to it. The straight cut lawn suits can be worn in both informal and formal occasions. They mostly come with vibrant colour combinations and detailed embroidery works. They are also made in such a way that one feels comfortable after wearing them. One can pair them up with a pant style bottom wear or with a regular traditional churidar.

Palazzo Suits

This is a kind of a fusion wear where one gets a proper blend of the Indian tradition and the western fashion. Here, the long and straight cut kurti is generally paired with a woman’s trousers that have wide legs and it flares out from the waist. One can again wear them in both formal and informal occasions.

Straight Cut Suits

They mainly contain fitting kameez and a pant style bottom wear. This also gives one a suave look. It has a smart design which gives slim appearance to the wearer and one can wear them not only in formal meetings but at a party as well.
