Russian vaccine: 1 out of 7 people facing side effects from Sputnik V

Russian Health Minister, Mikhail Murashko recently announced that one out of seven volunteers is complaining about side effects. All the people who have complained about Sputnik V are saying that they are suffering from weakness and muscle pain. No other side effects are there, only weakness and muscle pain are being cause by this Russian vaccine. The results of phase ½ trials of the vaccine showed that there are no adverse effects of this Russian vaccine. In response to the vaccine, a stable immune response was noted in 100% of participants. However, the final clinical trials of the vaccine are going on, we cannot make any information about Sputnik V, till the time trials get completed.

According to the health minister of Russia, only 14% of people are complaining about the side effects. He says that on basis of this only we can’t say that the Russian vaccine is not good for us. Furthermore, he said that we are still going on with the trials and observing down the people very much carefully. If will come to any kind of the point, we will share it with everyone.  But till the time we can say that Sputnik V can be out for the entire population in late November or starting December. As soon as the trials get over the vaccine will definitely be distribute to the different parts of the world.

Probing further, Russian Direct Investment inked a deal with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd said that they are going to held clinical trials in India. And soon after the arrival of Sputnik V- Russian Vaccine, it will be distributed. Upon the regulatory approval in India, RDIF will supply around 100 million doses of vaccine to Dr. Reddy’s.

Post-registration clinical trails of the Sputnik V vaccine involve 40,000 volunteers underway. Therefore, the results for the first trial are going to be out until October or November 2020. So, just keep calm and connected to the browser for having updates on Sputnik V- Russian vaccine.
