According to the recent reports, it has been found that that Chennai has decided to shut down again from June 19th, 2020. Ergo, in this lockdown, no one will be able to enter Chennai from all the adjoining areas or far more areas. Moreover, the chief minister K Palaniswami has announced that only 30 percent relaxations and a full scale shut down on two Sundays.
After meeting with an expert panel and amid the rising of coronavirus cases in Chennai, Palaniswami says that lockdown is going to be applicable in Chennai as well in the places that are under the jurisdiction of Chennai Greater Police. Moreover, the places situated in Tiruvallur, Chengelpet, and Kancheepuram districts are also going to under strict lockdown for 12 days that is from June 19th, 2020. It is very much important for the people to know that in this 12 days lockdown period only the essential services are going to be there and rest others will be restricted, Palaniswami said all this.
The proposed lockdown, sans present relaxations, will be implemented from June 19th to June 30th, 2020 and on the two Sundays coming there will be full shutdown without any relaxations, Palaniswami told the people about all this. Therefore, the lockdown this time is going to be more serious because the cases in some places like Mumbai, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat the cases are constantly increasing.
