Today, in Manhattan in New York City a rented pickup truck drove down a busy bicycle path close to World Trade Center. In this incident, eight people killed and about a dozen injured. The suspect was a 29-year-old man and was identified by two law enforcement officers.

The man was from Uzbekistan but has been living in the US as of 2010. This attack was unfolded about 3 p.m. on Halloween and was finished in the name of ISIS. Bill de Blasio, New York Mayor, supposed “the main target was blameless civilians and also at people going about their lives that do not have any idea regarding what will hit them”.

As per the authorities the time when the suspect jumped out of that pickup bus, he had fake weapons along with a paintball and a pellet gun. He had rented that truck from a Home Depot in New Jersey. As per the reports by the authorities, it was supposed that suspect named Sayfullo had left a note in the truck according to which he asserts that he committed this attack in support and behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

President Donald Trump tweeted regarding this incident that “it seems like this was one more attack by a sick and deranged person.” He also added that “my prayers and condolences are with the victims and their families of New York City terror attack. God as well as with your country is with you”. The US President alleged that we should not permit ISIS to be back or can enter in our country again, after beating them in the Middle East and away.”

This incident is being inspected as terrorism as the witnesses reported that the suspected man was screaming ‘Allahu Akbar ‘. Later than colliding the truck, the suspect also exited the vehicle although displaying the imitation firearms and was shot in the stomach.

According to officers, this was a terror attack, but Governor Andrew M. Cuomo claimed that “no proof claims a wider plan out or a scheme, this incident was one person who was intended to cause harm and pain as well as death and those results to terror”.

As per New York Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, following the incident, about six people were claimed to be dead on the spot, and two were declared dead after reaching the hospital. Approximately 11 others were moved to the hospital with many severe injuries.
