Today West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee supposed demonetisation was a disaster. She requested people to change their profile picture to a black on 8th November to protest against the note ban move.
She also slammed Modi government by phrasing the GST regime as the Great selfish tax to hassle people and end the economy. Mamta Banerjee posted on social media podium Twitter that ‘GST, i.e. Great Selfish Tax is to harass people and to take away jobs and hurt businesses. To finish the economy’. She also tweeted ‘Note ban is a complete disaster. On Nov8BlackDay to protest against this step which destroyed the economy, let we all also change the twitter DP to black’.
Modi government had banned the 1000 rupees note and 500 rupee notes on 8th November last year. Now planned to celebrate this day as an anti-Black money day. And now two days before for the celebration of the first anniversary of the implementation of demonetization. Mamta Banerjee urged all people to put on view their profile picture as black on 8th November for a protest aligned with this step.
Mamata Banerjee who was in opposition to BJP led central government on numerous matter prior days. Now her move to change the DP into black has been supported by many other political parties also. She called demonetization as the most prominent scam.
She added that ‘there should be a proper inquiry regarding it. I have tweeted in forty-five minutes of a declaration. In the present day, all of the leaders counting P Chidambaram, Manmohan Singh, and Arun Shourie are saying the similar thing. There are many other economists also who are saying the same thing on the subject matter of demonetisation’. Mamta Banerjee alleged that what intention demonetisation served? Did it demolish all black money? Or did it put an end to terrorism? No to all the questions, as only one party had changed its black money to white. They also hoard way their black money abroad also.
Mamata Banerjee is not the only one to mock regarding the demonetization as well as GST. As on 23rd October, Rahul Gandhi also alleged at the time of campaigning in Gujarat that GST was, in fact, Gabbar Singh Tax so as to be impinging on small traders all across the country.
