Kurkumbh MIDC: Major fire at Chemical Factory in Pune, no one injured

On Friday morning, a major fire broke out at a chemical company in Pune, but thanks to god that no one has injured in this incident. The officials said that this incident came into light when a huge sound was heard in the area. After that the cops were informed and they sealed the area and barricades have been put to the area to avoid crowding in that place.

One of the officials quoted that at around 10:30 A.M. the blaze erupted at the chemical factory and after that water tankers were rushed at over there. Therefore, the cooling process is still underway. As soon as the fire officers received this information, Devendra Potphode, chief fire officer of Pune rushed to the spot of the fireplace with other fire tenders. They rushed to the spot to douse the flames and handle the situation at that chemical factory.

People said that after hearing the sound in the areas a panic like the situation was made. Officials said that after hearing the noise people came out of their houses and saw smoke and flames which were coming out of the office, after that they informed the cops and the fire officers. Ergo, the situation was handled, and thanks to the god that nobody got injured in this panic situation. The official informed about the whole incident to the reporters, he said that the drums in the chemical factory was containing acetone and ethanol. As soon as the fire starts spreading, fire came in the contact of these drums and busted, that’s why a huge loss took place but every person over there is perfectly fine.

The cops have sealed that area properly and no one is allowed to enter the place because they are on an investigation about this incident. Lastly, we would like to say that this year is going to be considered one of the worst years as there are so many things happening around in 2020. Let’s pray to god for the safety of mother earth.
