Demonetisation anniversary

Both BJP along with Congress will face off today over demonetisation. As ruling party monitor first anniversary of demonetisation as anti-black money day and opposition party mark this day as black day. Today BJP leaders will fan out all over the country and highlight the benefits of demonetisation. On the other hand opposition, party leaders will hold protests against note ban.

Union ministers comprising Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Ananth Kumar, and Smriti Irani along with Suresh Prabhu will converse with media regarding this in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur and Chennai today.

PM Modi also shared a video on Twitter regarding the benefits of demonetisation. It is a seven minutes video which stresses on the benefits that note ban gave since 8th November 2016. He also asks for the feedback regarding this issue. He tweeted that ‘here are the benefits of demonetisation summarised in this video, just have a look. What you feel about the efforts to eradicate corruption and black money’.

BJP leaders  on demonetisation anniversary

Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman today speaks with media regarding the biggest achievements of demonetisation. She supposed ‘terrorism has been poorly hit and stone pelters had been reduced due to the reduction in cash flow owing demonetisation.

Arun Jaitley, the finance minister, called demonetisation as the watershed moment for the economy of India and added that anti-black money day is a moral move. He also responded to Manmohan Singh’s condemnation regarding demonetisation and said ‘he should compare the global credibility of the Indian economy from pore 2014 to post 2014.’

Opposition party on demonetisation anniversary

Yesterday former PM Manmohan Singh depicted demonetisation as the black day for an economy as well as democracy and also alleged that ‘the two blows of GST and demonetisation were disastrous for the economy and also broke the backbone of the businesses.’

On the other side launching a mocking attack on the Modi government on demonetisation Congress senior leader P Chidambaram supposed that numerous people suffered and also no one can refuse about the jobs as well lives that were lost because of this matter.

Today in Surat, Rahul Gandhi will be participating in a candlelight vigil on behalf of Congress parties Black day protest.

Congress leaders say that people of India will by no means pardon BJP. PM Modi will go down in India’s past for the gross mishap of demonetisation.  It is known as the scam of the century, and so about eighteen political parties have decided to protest in each state against this step.
