Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line –Pack of Cool Benefits

Delhi metro’s much anticipated Magenta Line is going to be unveiling today by Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from Nehru Enclave Metro Station. The part straddling 24.83 Km will be thrown kick off to public tomorrow. This line was in operation from last few months and proved to be a sigh of aid for so many people.

It is not only joining the parts of south Delhi to west Delhi and Noida but also it is about getting of smart card through vending machine at three stations.

Here is the list of some coolest and excited things about Magenta Line:

Tallest Escalator at Janakpuri West Interchange: there is a cause for which every delhite should be proud, Delhi has longest escalator which is tall as a five storey building, thrashing Mumbai’s Terminal 2. It is assumed to be 15.6 metres high which is tallest escalator of the country, over which every Delhite should be proud.

Just 20 minutes from South Delhi to Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 1: it is first metro link to domestic Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. With the starting of this metro link, South Delhi people from Nehru Place Metro Station will just take 20 minutes to reach IGI Airport. And people of West Delhi will take 30 minutes from Punjabi Bagh. And the time between airport and Botanical Garden will also plunge to 35 minutes. And this feels great.

Noida To Gurgaon in 50 minutes: now you don’t have to get brood if you have to go Gurgaon to Noida or vice –versa, the line is established to downgrade the travelling time from 90 minutes to 50 minutes. All the commuters travelling on yellow line have to change at Rajiv Chowk and embark the blue line to go to Noida. But now once the Huaz Khaz Metro Station becomes a core stop for Magenta Line then commuter don’t have to stop at Rajiv Chowk, they will able to switch the metros at Hauz Khaz also.

Stops for Major Universitites: This line has stops for Major Universities of Delhi, Jmaia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and IIT Delhi.

West Delhi Connectivity: this line gives the connectivity between the areas of West Delhi like Palam, Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Sagarpur and Dashrathpur.

Smart Card Vending Machine: DMRC will prove smart card vending machine at three stations, Janakpuri West, Botonical Garden and Terminal 1 IGI Airport of this new Magenta Line.
