PM Modi said that this economic package is for the laborers, farmers, honest taxpayers, MSMEs, and cottage industry. PM Modi addressed the nation after a six-hour meeting with all the Chief Ministers in the nation. Furthermore, he will come ahead on May 17th again to address the nation when the lockdown is due to end. Therefore, in yesterday’s meeting with Chief Minister’s he hinted that the nation is going to continue the lockdown but with fewer restrictions. According to the Union Health Ministry, India reported around 6 new corona cases in the last 24hours and around 87 people died. The illness has brought around 70,756 confirmed cases in India including 2293 deaths.
